| We only have five species in the areas covered by this website and all are abundant except the Great Crested Newt which I have only seen when on an official hunt for pond invertebrates. They also migrate from ponds to hibernate under garden sheds in gardens next to pond sites and are sometimes accidentally distuirbed there. The Goyt Valley includes the main four species and images will be posted in time. |
