For the record I do not claim to have seen or heard of this species in the Goyt Valley itself. It is however close by and well within range. I am actively hunting for this in season. Others may wish to do the same.
This sighting was the result of a like-minded colleague introducing a commercial 'Clearwing Moth' (as they are generically known) pheromone lure attractant suspended in a silk bag on a bush. I cannot claim the credit for the sighting. Species known to be on site but unlikely otherwise to be seen. The speed with which the lure worked amazing. In both images the Moth is vibrating at speed thus the front end appears to be and actually is less sharp for obvious (to photographers) reasons. This species also said to be at Tegg's Nose.
