| Declaration: For the record I do not claim to have seen or heard of this species in the Goyt Valley. It is however widespread in areas surrounding the Goyt Valley. This seemingly incredibly hardy Damselfly always seems to be about regardless of the weather and is certainly a late season species and indeed has a long season. Probably the latest species of the year. The reason I have not seen this delightful Damselfly in the Goyt Valley is probably because I have not looked properly. I have tended to spend Odonata seasons on more lucrative sites in the past and must make amends: June 30th. |
