| Route 4 includes this short stretch which ends at the A5004 (Long Hill) road. Images will end at the A5004 although the route continues to pick up po0nds outside the Goyt. There is also a brook and a pond on this stretch. The pond is rapidly being overwhelmed by reeds and will disappear before too long. |

| Not all routes promise good opportunities for landscapes and this applies here. Still a useful route and at the bottom of the path above there is a substantial brook with a footbridge. I have seen Dragonflies on the wing here but never waited: November 19th. |

| This route climbs all the way to the A5004 and pond 6 which is surrounded by boggy ground and fast disappearing under reeds. Should still be good for Darters. Will check in spring: November 19th. |
