| This the horseshoe shaped route 21 which is only 3.1 km long. Half of the route West of the River Goyt and half East of the River Goyt. East and West will be noted on images, along with the usual date. The route includes the 750 metres length from Oldfield Farm entrance to car park 6. That will not be represented here as it is represented elsewhere. A short route but I am optimistic it may deliver some interesting results from the 2023 season onwards and of course I combine this route with route 2 to create a longer route (route 22). |

| The wooden footbridge. The water course under the footbridge is substantial but unnamed. I have named it here as Mill Clough Brook as it flows down Mill Clough (see map below). See also the video showing the flow. West side: December 1st. 2022 |
